Sustainable living in forest surroundings

Let’s get the potential deal-breakers out of the way:

1. There is no bathroom door, or wall. It is only separated by a curtain (but the toilet is in a separate room that can be locked).
2. 40+ stairs, no elevator.
3. There are two humans, three rats, 20+ plants and one or two cats living here.
4. The humans and rats are vegetarian (the plants are vicious though and they will attack).
5. No smoking.

And now the highlights:

1. Freshly renovated apartment, around 100 sqm in total.
2. Powered by a heat pump, with ceiling heating and cooling.
3. Large living room kitchen area, newly equipped with energy efficient appliances.
4. Bed and nightstand are available for the rented room, but they can also be removed.
5. Enormous bathtub (half a tone capacity).
6 Bus station right in front of the building, 15 minutes to U6 Nussdorferstrasse and 8 minutes to S45 Krottenbachstrasse.
7. Shared garden.
8. Nature and parks are in every direction you walk; trees are visible from every window.
9. East facing bedroom, south facing balcony, west facing living room (the holy trinity).
10. Pet friendly, in case this was not obvious already.
11. Marswiese Kletterhalle is 20 minutes away by bike, through the park.
12. Billa, Spar, Hoffer, Apotheke, Post within 5 bus stations away.
13. As much as fossil fuel sucks, there’s a very convenient Tankstelle 2 minutes away.
14. Bike room, storage room, and may we have the force to also clean up the Keller.
15. We might be biased, but the roommates are also pretty decent: late 20s, employed, art and science lovers…
